In accordance with the requirements stipulated in the "Regulations on the Organization of National Societies by the China Association for Science and Technology" and the "Measures for the Pre-Appointment Publicity of Responsible Persons in National Societies (Trial)", and based on the provisions of the "International Federation of Measurement and Control of Granular Materials (IFMCGM) Constitution", the proposed appointments for the interim adjustment of the IFMCGM Fifth Council are now publicly announced. The announcement period is from September 30, 2025, to October 13, 2025 (5 working days).

1. Tang Lixin, male, born in August 1966, member of the Communist Party of China, holds a doctoral degree, academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, currently serving as Vice President of Northeastern University, is proposed for appointment as Council Member, Standing Council Member, and Chairman of the IFMCGM Fifth Council.

2. Liu Wenhong, female, born in April 1978, member of the Communist Party of China, holds a doctoral degree, currently serving as Associate Professor at the School of Information Science and Engineering, Northeastern University, is proposed for appointment as Council Member, Standing Council Member, and Secretary-General of the IFMCGM Fifth Council.

3. Wang Yutao, female, born in May 1970, non-affiliated democrat, holds a doctoral degree, currently serving as Director of the Department of Intelligent Measurement and Control, School of Information Science and Engineering, Northeastern University, and currently serving as Chairman of the IFMCGM Fifth Council, is proposed for adjustment to the position of Executive Chairman of the IFMCGM Fifth Council.

During the announcement period, should there be any objections regarding the announced candidates, please submit a written, substantiated report to the IFMCGM Secretariat. Objections received after the deadline or submitted anonymously will not be accepted.
